Antelope International Dark Sky Community
Pristine sky, where the Milky Way casts shadows on the ground.
Antelope is a tiny community in the high desert of north-central Oregon with an International Dark Sky Community designation and some of the darkest skies in the state. The surrounding landscape is sparsely populated ranching country with minimal light sources for miles. At Bortle 1, conditions here rival the Oregon Outback to the south. The community itself has fewer than 50 residents, which means you are visiting one of the quietest dark sky destinations in the country.
